Tryouts for the 2008-09 season
Tryouts have been scheduled.
Welcome to the team tryouts page on the Montgomery Travelers Soccer Club website. Our tryouts have been designed to provide an objective evaluation of players interested in participating in a highly competitive form of soccer. Please see the tryout evaluation criteria. To learn more about MTSC and tryouts, please read the Parent Letter.Our program provides the opportunity for younger players to learn the fundamentals of soccer and teamwork, while experiencing the fun that these accomplishments can offer. As players progress in age and skill, they are taught more advanced levels of soccer, compete at higher levels, and enjoy the self-satisfaction that this growth brings.
To register for tryouts, there is a new process:
- If you have not done so, create a user Login (by clicking the new user link above).
- Login using your User ID
- Click the link on the lower left for 'Change Family Info'
- On the Family Administration page, create a new player for each family member you want to sign up for tryouts. When creating the user, click on the age group for the tryout you want. If you sign-up for a tryout, you will be required to provide at least one phone number and your home address. If you already have one on file, there is no need to add anymore.
- Create more players or guardians (e.g. spouse etc) as needed. We intend to notify Guardians about relevent tryout information through e-mail. Guardians are also able to login and change family information. If you make a mistake, you can change the information.
- Print the tryout release, one copy for each tryout and bring to the first day of tryouts. Available from the family administration page.
- Remember to keep your information current.
- Login using your User ID
- go to the Family Info Page.
- click the button for 'tryout release' toward the bottom of the page.
- print out the release, sign it and bring it to each tryout age group.
